The spirit inside me is what keeps me alive. I am not promised tomorrow, yet I am confident that my spirit shall never die. Life to me has taken on a whole new meaning. No longer is it all "about me", but all about Him who saved me. For I was held captive by this world for all too long. The chains that held me down where broken free by the love and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is so terribly easy to lose ourselves in the ways of this world. For they want us to beleive the lies they tell us, but I say lets seek the Truth. The "Truth" to me is not submitting to the standards of society, but submitting ourselves to the One who made us in His likeness and His image, God. For it is Jesus who says "My grace is sufficent for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"(Galatians 12vs 9). It is only when we find the faith to let go that we are truly free. When I lived in darkness I felt so trapped and all alone. Out of desperation I cried out to Jesus and His glorious light gave me the sight I needed to step out of that dark place. I truly encourage anyone who is out there who feels all alone to call out to our Lord. He is all you need to fill that emptiness, that void. For I am living proof that NOTHING in this world can fill that void. It took much suffering for me to figure that out. Now that the spirit of our Lord has entered my heart I have experienced unexpressable feelings of joy and peace that I have never felt in the 26 years of my life. I beleive that we are all One and are all connected in one way or the other. For the Bible says, "in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts according to the grace given us"( Romans 12 vs5-6). Therefore we must unite. No longer will the enemy have a hold on us. And no longer shall anyone live a broken, defeated life. There is hope, and hope has a name. It is Jesus. He is "the way, the Truth, and the Life"(John 14 vs 6 ). No longer shall we fear death for God has given us life forever. For the Word says, "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world-the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does-comes not from the father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever"(1 John 2vs 15-17).
