About Me

..

Henry

Born & schooled in London, England.

Music has always been a part of my life, from classical to Big Band, Jazz, House and Soul. Played in several bands but the two I remember most are Eltham Green School Band where I mainly played Eb Bass Tuba and The Royal Eltham Concert Band where I played Bb Tenor Sax.

Big Thanks to Alan Timperley (The Queens Scots Guards) Big Band Leader for the Royal Eltham Concert Band also my Sax tutor.

And A Big Thanks to David Ruffer (Music Teacher and Band Leader) Eltham Green School.

Music would probably not mean much to me if it was not for these two very talented tutors.

After leaving the band I still needed to have a big sound around me I had moved and was working long hours so I could not stay with the band. Back in 1984 I'd turned to electronic music this was the one way that I could still have a big band sound with me but back then synths sounded great but they could not replace a big band or orchestra so I learned to use both synthetic & acoustic together and that was a hard adjustment and fun at the same time being use to working with natural sounding instruments. Hoping one day for my music to be used in the film & television industry is a strong passion of mine; music should not only be heard but seen.

I Would Like to meet Anyone who wants to consider me to write music for their films or television shows
