Heading into its sixth year, the Scatfest Music Festival (Scatfest) is held at the end of spring in Northeast Texas. The aim of the all ages festival is simple — to bring people together through a genuine love of music. With its DIY mentality and strong following, Scatfest has attracted the likes of Patent Pending, We.re All Broken, The Forever Endeavor, Melba Toast, Ethan Durelle, Junior, The Murdocks, Don't Wake Aislin, and The Tastydactyls, along with numerous local and regional artists.
Scatfest 2009 took place on May 30, 2009 in Paris, Texas — land of the Eiffel Tower with a red Cowboy hat, and the place famous for a movie that was actually never actually filmed there.
Plans are underway for a move to the DFW-area. More details to come.
