About Me

Charmaine Freeman 'Faye' trained and studied at Middlesex University, specialising in Interdisciplinary Performing Arts where she majored first class in music theory and composition. Throughout that time she has performed at The Place, Euroart Gallery, Wyvern Theatre and ‘The Old Truman Brewery’ the creative hub of London's East End in an area that is being called the Portobello of the new millennium - a self-contained creative resource that is unique in Britain. Throughout this time she was able to demonstrate her work on numerous occasions supporting her own music and dance choreography alongside Banksy and Malakhi Trax II Dance Company and Kay Herms Physical Theatre Company where she combined contemporary dance, spoken text, acting and video art to create theatre of social relevance and artistic integrity. With over 7 years training in Jazz and Contemporary dance she has been a genuine success in the development and devising of installation and performance art, dance, drama and music strengthening her talent and skills further throughout occasional performance workshops, physical theatre and production. Having performed in a large variety of lead dance and singing solo performances since the age of six and winning a variety of awards for best vocalist, she is now focussing heavily into the music industry moving towards a more specialised side of her ability bringing all round experience to the table and enabling her to share the same outlook as 'The Next Room' - TNR Productions, who she has recently been working with since the beginning of 2009.
