I am Erik. While I have a name, I cannot be defined by words nor do I truly want soceity to define me. I'll tell you my thoughts on life and existence. Life is about the present, not the past, not the future. Life is a journey and the people you meet along the way can either support and help or try to divert you from your path. Life is about being openminded, being free and not constrained by reality or past transgressions--- LET GO!Believe in positive thinking. There are dreamers and there are doers. Have deep dreams, set a plan to set those dreams into reality. There are those that will tell you no, it can't be done ... (i.e., the neysayers) and there will be those that will believe in you and help you to be a success... (i.e., supporters)...The mind is very powerful. Often times people rather not try for risk of failure. But isn't it better to "try than to not have tried at all?" or is persistance better "if at first you don't succeed, try try again?" Sometimes, people subscribe to being ignorant for if they don't know, then they aren't held responsible. I believe in ignorance is not bliss...i.e., "don't go looking in places you know won't give answers in order to avoid the places that will." In otherwords, dont procrastinate... and certaintly such a lifestyle is sure to physically manefest itself in some form--- cancer, stress, heart attack... "Expectation postponed is making the heart sick," - Solomon.

Latin, Old wave 80s like Cure, New Order, Depeche Mode to reggae (Matisyahu, 311, Sublime, Bob Marley) to the 70s rock (Chicago, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Neil Diamond, Jimmy Buffet, Tom Jones) to Disco (Earth Wind and Fire, ) ska/alternative (Dance Hall Crashers), to the more depressing (The Carpenters, Morrissey, Radiohead) to more R&B/Rap (Jay Z, 2Pac, 50 cent, to techno (Louis DaVito) to more contemporary stuff (Outkast), to Classic Rock (AC/DC, Aerosmith, ZZ Top) to Industrial (Prodigy) to Classical Music (Mozart, Brahms, Chopin, Holst) to jazz (davis, coltrane, etc.), Sinatra, mostly everything but the country and event then u may sway me...
