Sounds Like: J.Harden "The King of Hood & Blues" has a sound that is truly his own. Though his soulful vocals may remind you of great artist such as Marvin Gaye, Teddy P, Curtis Mayfield and even R.Kelly, in the end his style stands alone. He has taken a different approach to telling his story, not to be mistaken with gangsta rap or blues the genere of Hood & Blues puts together the pains and struggles in a blues lyrical format but is song over up tempo beats, therefore making J.Hardens sound and presentation completely different. In addition to giving you songs that sound like no other, he brings creativity, energy, excitement and finesse to his stage performace, through use of props and back up dancers, J. Harden has the ablity to most artist (majors and indies) to shame.
