LHC forms in 1997 in New York City. Of all the rock n' roll bands in the world who never actually wrote or recorded any songs, or played live, LHC is widely considered to be the most influential.
Original members J. Luca A. and PJ Skea left the band in 1998 to pursue other projects.
In 2001, MZ, the lone remaining member, recorded a 13-song demo of original songs, the first LHC project to ever find it's way onto a compact disc. The demo eventually found it's way to the desk of rap legend and hip-hop pioneer Chuck D (of Public Enemy). Chuck invited MZ and LHC to be a part of online record label SlamJamz.com, a predominantly hip-hop website, but one that welcomed the electronic pop contained on the demo. LHC underwent a temporary name change, becoming Stereotypes (at Chuck's urging). In all, four original songs were hosted on SlamJamz.com, beginning in early 2002. Stereotypes remained a part of the SlamJamz family for nearly two years, before being dropped, as a result of "complete disinterest", and "lack of downloads".
After a six year layover, LHC has returned with new music, just in time for 2008, with plenty more left in the tank for 2009, and some big, big plans for 2010. After more than ten years of obscurity, invisibility, and procrastination, LHC remains dedicated to the pursuit of even greater obscurity, intense invisibility, and blatant procrastination.
