With Le Monguer, it's not the music, it's what are they going to do next... Starting over 10 years ago as a solo artist, James Fink started playing shows. 10 years later and more line-up and band name changes than anyone thought he'd keep playing through, the line-up finally ended up with James Fink (Guitar/Vocals), Red Kevbo (Bass), and Ken (Drums) and the name Le Monguer. Meeting at EvCC, Red Kevbo decided to join It's Tay Tay's band, Trafficlight Chronicles and a show was set up with both bands. At the show at the Unitarian Church in Marysville, Wa, things changed when Ken decided that they weren't going anywhere and had It's Tay Tay fill in, a month later he was asked to join the band. Continuing their string of shows at Jimmy-Z's, Le Monguer finally settled into a sound with their new drummer and back-up vocalist, they were ready to expand. Known for their wild acts on stage, including fighting with eachother, spitting on eachother, impromt guest vocalist (including such artists as Drown Mary Eric ), pouring water down the back of Red's pants, It's Tay Tay running around the crowd in a tux man thong while another bands singer played drums and chanted "Naked Drummer", ect. Le Monguer started to get an audiance that listened, instead of clearing the bar by the end of the first song, as Red and James were accustom to. Weather playing a song written 10 years ago, jamming with an impromptu guest vocalist, getting naked, or showing off their sexy (note: I'm sure that's the ONLY controversial statement on this page, oh yeah) selves, Le Monguer will play a show to remember.
