your mom. and mitch hedberg even though he is dead. and ben folds.
first and foremost, the houston high school mighty marching band. just kidding.ben folds, blink 182, green day, guster, no these arent in alphabetical order on purpose, evanescence, damien rice, jars of clay, michael tolcher, cake, dashboard confessional, deathcab for cutie, good charlotte, ingram hill, keane, the killers, maroon five, oar, switchfoot, weezer, wham, sister hazel, sixpence none the richer, parliament, rockapella, relient k, red hot chilli peppers, all american rejects, beatles (occasionally), chicago, doobie brothers, jimmy buffet, dave matthews, coldplay, derek webb, dexie's midnight runners, dispatch, eve 6, frank sinatra, aretha franklin, gary jules, hootie and the blowfish, linkin park (occasionally), me first and the gimmie gimmies, stuff from moulin rouge, stuff from one winter (the album that charlie makes for patrick in the perks of being a wallflower), everything on kix 106 (the country station), and ben folds again because he is twice as good as everyone else combined twice. and three times as good as your mom.
little nemo: adventures in neverland... the neverending story (only part 1- parts 2 and 3 are horrible!)... the last unicorn... anything with robin williams... anyting with hugh grant... the boondock saints... fight club... the chronicles of riddick... basically fantasy, sci-fi, action stuff, with a healthy mix in of comedy and the occasiona chick flick, like shes all that, 10 things i hate about you, or josie and the pussycats. and the prince's bride. oh, and donnie darko. anything existential. yeah. ooh, and v for vendetta, and equilibrium- sci-fi stuff that explores the future, examines free will, thats good stuff. thats it, im rambling.
none. yeah, thats right. i dont like tv. it takes up too much time.
existential novels are the shiz. the stranger, slaughterhouse-five, lullabye, fight club... yeah, i really connect with those types of characters. the poisonwood bible is the most amazing book ever, just because of kingsolver's grasp of the english language. other than that, anything science-fiction or fantasy- enders game, anything by david eddings, anything by robert jordan, anything by tolkein (except the silmarillion), anything by allen cole. and then classics, like dracula and the picture of dorian grey. and the perks of being a wallflower, and whatever novels are recommended in that book, both on the list in the back and on the list of books that charlie gets for sam and patrick. so far from the back i have read thin skin, the f***-up, and dont sleep with your drummer, plus some short stories compiled by steven chbotsky. from the list that charlie gives to patrick and sam i have read to kill a mockingbird, the great gatsby, a separate peace, the catcher in the rye, on the road, the stranger, hamlet, and the fountainhead, and i tried to read walden by thoreau but it was so ridiculosly boring i couldnt even finish it. and last but not least i really dig shakespeare- mercutio, robin goodfellow and hamlet are my favorite characters, and i like all the plays i have read so far except maybe othello. thats all. i love to read.
this girl right here because she rocks my world.
