My images are neither illustrations nor photographs. they stand somewhere in between the two in their full technicolour or monochromatic glory and magazine-like glossiness, often verging on the unreal or fantasy. With firsthand experience in working under the renowned image-maker and colour-creator Serge Lutens for Shiseido Cosmetics Intl. in Tokyo and Paris in the late nineties, I continue to travel extensively and incorporate different cultures and their representations into my breathtaking iconic images that are often themed with death, love, pain, celebration and magic. My images verge on the surreal, and are haunting and sinister yet fashionably edged, sensual, desirable and contemporary.
