Little and the Giants

About Me

Genera: World Music, Pop, Funk, Blues, Jazz, MPB, Rock...

Originally formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2007 by Little David and Fred Castro.
Little and the Giants is a band that works with the pure essence of music. Walking through multiple music styles, you can hear influences like classical, brazilian rythms, rock, R&B, progressive and black music as well.

While still working in Anima Dominum (www.animadominum.com), Little David decided to invite some friends and open his black box to let his songs go public.

In Anima, Little composed and built, with other band members, the 1st (Tempus Stetisse) and the 2nd CD (Singularities) that has the blessing hands of Mr. Lincoln Olivetti.

In this first album - KARMA - the Giants walk throught the english songs like "Arabella" and "City, Suns, Heart", the esoteric "Moves the Time", the progressive "Candle of Thoughts", the global warming combat song "Once Upon a Time, Blue", and a new dancing version for Gentle Giant´s "Playing the Game".

The Fabricio´s acid guitars, the caracteristics Fred Castro´s drums and the compositions, arrangements along with Little David´s vocals give a distinguished style to the band.

The Little and the Giants has the help of sequencers, synthesized guitars and basses and lots of eletronic percussion. This brings a sofisticated and dancing style to the band.
