Platinum Theater began as a rock band based out of Mediapolis, Iowa writing and playing original songs. Formerly known as Refuse 2 Comply, the band changed its name and direction somewhat when Mike Jacobs came on board as vocalist. His abilities enabled PT to perform a wide variety of rock covers as the band was itching to get out and play local venues in a live setting. Now armed with more than a four hour arsenal of rock favorites as well as originals, PT has been rocking the southeast Iowa area for nearly two years. They invite you to come check out as many shows as possible as the band constantly works to add new songs to their ever growing set list. They have an "unofficial" three song demo available to anyone that asks, just get ahold of a band member and they'll get you a copy asap.
