I hate to define myself by what I do, but how else can I convey in a few short paragraphs who I am? I am a generally happy, positive, loving person. I want to believe people are generally good, but living life has tarnished my nievity.Disc Golf: love it, played since '99, went Pro in '05 and am honored to be the '05 PDGA Female Rookie of the Year :) I am the only Amateur player to win a Pro World Championship title... Pro Mixed Doubles with Dave Feldberg. The days it comes so easy are the days that feed the addiction. I wish they were more frequent! The friends I've made and awesome people I get to play with feed my tournament addiction.Snowboarding: I was a skier for 7 years, was in ski club with my friends (not ski team ;) but they all boarded so I gave it a whirl. Loved it so much I sold my skis that night to my sister's friend so I could buy a board. An instant passon. Learned on a Burton Elite 150, first board was a SIMS swallowtail... LOVED this board, we (that board, the snow and I) were one when we were together... oh what a freaking rush! Haven't really found a board I've bonded with like that since. Live for powder days. After high school snowboarding was my passion, met my husband snowboarding, got married on the mountain, spent all our money and spare time on this addiction... disc golf has taken it's place since '99... thanks Jodie for getting me up on the hill more these last couple years! My heart still belongs in the snow.Knitting: makes me feel like a nerd... LOVE it! An amazing creative outlet for me. I love learning a new move and creating something with it, making up my own creations. Working from a patern makes me feel trapped and in the dark about where I'm going. When I'm creating the piece I have the whole vision for the piece, it's a lot more inspiring to complete... find out what it's going to look like :)Music: It's odd, even though I haven't played in so many years I still consider myself a musician (yes, very amateur ;) Started playing flute, got board and tired of the girls, moved onto the tuba, wished I'd done it a lot sooner! There's something magical and gut turning about playing a piece of music with a band and having a portion of time where everyone in the room (all 80 of you) suddenly klick together and make beautiful sounds. Oh man! I love music, since my 20's I've not had so much of my identity wrapped up in what I listen to or who I've seen, but really just enjoy what good music I come across and appreciate a broader gamut of sounds. I love all kinds of music, rock being what I gravitate to the most, but John Prine sure can deliver, so country is on the list... yeah, I'm all over when you ask me what I listen to.Work: yeah, I'm glad I got through school, proved to everyone that I am smart and can do anything I put my mind to. I have a great job with some amazing atributes, but as is my nature I get board... what's the next step in my professional life? Unknown. More of the same for the immediate future. Kickin' ass creating the future of hp's consumer inkjet printers
