My name is Annette Lamontagne-Dawson and I am an award winning Canadian songwriter. I was just picked as a semi finalist in the 2009 UK songwriting contest with a new co-write called "Never Pray For More" and have been a finalist in the great American songwriting contest, winner and runner-up in the 2005 Manitoba CCMA songwriting contest, former semi finalist in UK 06 and I have also received an Honorable mention in American songwriter.
In Oct. 2006 I was lucky enough to be picked for Barbara Cloyds pitch to publisher workshop where I played for some amazing publishers and became a part of the infamous "BIG DADDY'S GANG" It is such a fabulous group of soon to be top songwriters and the warmest group of friends you could hope to meet. I currently live in Snow Lake Manitoba...or noMANitoba as I refer to it...which makes the move to a music mecca even more appealing lol !! I own and operate a small hair salon here called "Beautiful You" I truly love the high of helping someone look their best and thus feel their best.. and knowing my music can have the same effect is the ultimate! My dream is to be a major contributor as both a songwriter and a stylist in this music industry I love so much!
