The name "KidChild" and "Hayden. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???
The name KidChild comes from "Kid" and Child", which both have separate meanings. The term Kid refers to someone that is underage, immature and inexperienced. Yet it also refers to the purest innocence, because a "kid" does not know any better, so a "kid" does what it does because it's a kid. The term "Child" comes from the fact that no matter how old you are, 40, 50, 60, or 100, you are always someone or was somebody's child, and this is not bound by age. So this child can be old or a kid. So combining the words "kid" and "child" means that I am growing up, but my lyrics, subject matter, and experience is not defined by age. Yet as I grow up, I will still retain the innocence of a kid by doing only what I know, and that is true Hip Hop.
The term "Hayden" is KidChild's biological last name which is a slave name. Also deprived from famous poets, and classical composers and is wordplay for "Hating".
Born in Minneapolis, MN, A MC that goes by the name of KidChild Hayden (Formerly known as Yung Hayden The Truth) is a true poet. Most of his lyrics require more then 1 listen to fully comprehend the true message. KidChild makes lyrics so that every single individual can get something different out of it. KidChild still being a teenager proves that talent comes with any age. Ambition is not a learned trait, it's a part of a persons character, so what keeps pushing him? He replied to simply get better, no necessarily to be the best of all time or anything like that, but to be the best me..... and to be remembered as a true poet and MC.
Discovered by another rapper LIL-Z, this rapper would see KidChild had potential for a rapper who had never rapped before. The two seperated after 2 years of writing/music making, but KidChild decided to make his own music, and achieve the destiny that LIL-Z seen for him. They have since then kept in touch, and have said "SEE YOU AT THE TOP".
KidChild said that he was tired of making stupid, non true hip hop whack music. Currently residing in Atlanta, GA, we will attempt to use his style to make it in a city of snap & club bangers. With his Myspace Page, He has only had the account for 10 months, and has over 40,000 plays and going strong. He displays the very stereotype that Minneapolis has quality lyricists. He currently investing in his own home studio for a more clearer sound, although it is not the clearest, MC's work with what they have. Currently averaging around 80 plays a day, 2008 is tremendous growth for this artist. His song "What Is Your Name". A song that KidChild describes as "Classic". Because it breaks down the transformation from Yung Hayden The Truth to KidChild. It is unknown as to if "Yung Hayden" will appear in any more tracks.
KidChild has a goal, to get a record deal making pure new school hip hop by the year 2011. KidChild is extremely confident in his abilities to be a true lyricist. With that confidence, KidChild startied his own Record Label Company, H.I.M Recordz. HIM is an acronym.... H (Hip Hop), I (is), M(me), or (Hip Hop) I M (Hip Hop I Am). With this being said, He is determined not to make money, but to make good music. Everyone will Know The MC that is KidChild
The release of the first mixtape "BEST MC UNDER 21" was not sucessful due to poor timing on grinding on myspace. The mixtape should have been released in May or June when KidChild Hayden was receiving 200 plays a day on average due to Onlining (Online Grinding). Due to poor sound quality, and poor timing, only around 20 copies were downloaded in 3 months. Despite the downfall, KidChild Hayden is determined to bounce back any second now, and put Minneapolis, MN on the map. With a better sound quality, and even more versatility on the next mixtape, KidChild is expecting 100 Downloads the first week.
The first single is rumored to be Mistakes. A song that is about a woman liking this guy, but is paying for her ex's bad doings.
Since the announcement of the second mixtape, loyal fans have asked if KidChild will "DUMB IT DOWN". Answer: No. KidChild Hayden will not dumb it down, he will just be adding more swag to his lyrics.
