About Me

The K's are my entire life. Kayla the Princess, Kyrsten the Rebel, and Koen my little man. I love makeup and feel ugly if my toes aren't painted. My dream job is to write greeting cards for Hallmark. The color turquoise makes me smile. I would die without Carmex. I love my family and friends, and they love me. I procrastinate, but I always see the cup half full. Life, Liberty, and the persuit of happiness is the answer. I am a cookie monster fanatic....Me love cookies. My dog is better than yours. I like to scrabble it up in my free time! If carrot cake were a sport, I would be master. One day I will have that weeping willow in my front yard. Sarcasm is my second language and I am fluent in it. I like people who are real....really crazy!

My Interests

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. They keep me grounded and well rounded in life. I have started to scrapbook again and I am finding other projects to feed my "crafty" side. I love to bake, mainly because I love to eat!!!

I'd like to meet:

People that can enlighten me on life. I like people that have a good sense of humor, and can laugh at themselves. Because if you aren't able to laugh at yourself then you take life too seriously.

Music:

I am a lover of music in general. I find it hard to choose just one style of music though because I like the variety that different genres offer!

Movies:

I am a self-proclaimed movie lover with my own personal Blockbuster in my living room. My favorites are action-adventure, comedy, and "chick-flicks" Not a huge fan of horror movies, but I will watch any movie once.

Television:

Smallville, Prison Break, and Burn Notice are my favorite TV shows. But I love gay reality TV. It's a guilty pleasure to laugh at other people.

Books:

James Patterson and anything by Nicholas Sparks, he has a beautiful way of telling a story.

Heroes:

My Husband and all the other men and women who are selflessly serving our country. Also my father. He has been able to overcome a lot from the past and is now a great man.

When I say

I came across this and thought it was beautiful. I wanted to share.   When I say..."I am a Christian", I'm not shouting I'm clean livin'. I'm whispering I was lost, now I'm found and forgiven. ...
