Sensual, passionate, calming and smooth are all words that have been used to describe Poetyk (Poetic) and her work. Given the name “Simone” by her parents, Poetyk has been writing since the age of 9. “Poetry has always been more than a love, but a heart-felt passion and a burning desire for me. It is flowing through my veins so to speak. Poetry is a part of who I am. As a teen, writing became, very much, my release and my most effective means of expression”. The artist, Poetyk, came to fruition at a pivotal point of newness and discovery in her life. Poetyk was always a part of the lady that is Simone, but it was not until the year 2006 that Poetyk was revealed to all. Currently residing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Poetyk is the loving mother of 3 beautiful children. She is a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the Mt.
