Panic Button

About Me

Panic Button is a 4 piece indie-rock outfit out of the San Francisco bay area. Founded by lead singer and songwriter Eric Stief in 2003. Eric spent a few years refining his song writing and performance abilities playing solo acoustic shows and open mic nights around the SF area. After a number of years playing solo, writing a number of songs and gaining exposure amongst the open mic community. After deciding it wasn't the right scene for his music, he sought to fill out the rest of the band to help deliver the driving rock sound that he looking for. Soon, Eric met like-minded musician and fellow guitarist, Erik Trujillo (guitar, backing vocals) who introduced him to Sean Glover (drums). The 3 spent the next year working on refining the songs that Eric wrote over the years helping them to achieve the potential they required, and writing a few new tunes. They started recording with hopes to release their first album (with Eric playing the bass in addition to lead guitars and vocals) that should be out and available this fall. Missing stage, they recently ended the search for a bassist to fill the roster. Joined by Pete Aduan (an old acquaintance), the band now is ready to rock the socks off anyone in their way to success. Definitely keep an ear open for this band, with their hook filled, driving, indie rock sound. They're sure to make an impression!!!
