Gabba Gabba HEY!!!

About Me

We started playing in 1997 during Highschool in NY. Man, we totally sucked back then. We started wrting our own materials during college in Tokyo around 2001? 2? We made a demo shortly after that and it was horrible, but we were happy anyways. Months rolled by and we recorded another demo which kicked ass and met a bunch of cool people and played with a bunch of really really good bands both from in and out of Japan. Then we did a Japan tour in which Yoshi (our drummer) got his pubic region stroked gently by a perverted man outside a hotel in Osaka (a big city in the western region of Japan) . Our second tour was kind of like a trip out to San Francisco. We played in LA and SF only and hung out with our friend Theo and his friends. We played a few shows with a band from AZ (All Too Much) and fooled them by acting as if we didn't speak any English. (They were shouting like how do you say big boobs in Japanese?!) Our second Japanese tour came shortly after that which consisted of us and our fellow Japanese hard-core band Hidarimawari who kicks ass and sing about how the singer is too fat to skate. We ended up staying at a love hotel (hotels for couples who can't have sex in their parents' house) in Osaka and had a blast by enjoying free Karaoke and porn films. We recorded an album later on and nice people of Falcom Records offered to do distro for us and we said hell yea, and hopped on to their label for that and two of their comps (Global Punk vol.1&2). We were very pleased with our album and went on a west coast tour in the states. We met so many people who are just amazing and totally changed our view towards life. It was great to be able to play shows with the bands like Toys That Kill, Tiltwheel, Sado-nation, Three Found Dead, Berzerk, Curbside High...... I'm sure there were more. (must be all those muffins.. Thanks Bearpaw!) And a very special thanks to the Fast Castle and all the guys and gals in SD and Theo and the dangerous people in SF for making us feel at home. We also did a tour this spring as well (2005). We got to play in not just west coast, but also places like Salt Lake City and Denver. Like always we played with kick-ass bands and partied with really cool people. This time add the Phenomenauts, Rail Them to Death, Scooter, Luke and Seth to the thanks list above. I've always wanted to see how the inland looked like so I was really excited to go to all these places. We were able to go through these tours and have a good time. If it weren't for all the people who support us we would never be able to grow both as a band and individuals. So thanks and we'll see you again!! And to those of whom we haven't met yet, I hope you'll become our friends as well. Man, this has been a long Bio, but I don't think this is enough.

some show

Those of who came out to our show last night thanks a lot! We had fun both on and off stage. I wonder if Gabe ever made it back home in one piece. Well anyway, we've been added to Falcom Records....
