Small Bio......I’m Jonny B from Aberdeen Scotland started DJing in 99 started off playing chart stuff then hard house and trance. By 2001 I had his first residency at Neptune bar Aberdeen, playing every week the tunes I loved. I got further residencies at drum, pelican, joy, mint, the forum and many more. In the past warming up for dj's BK (Ben keen) king of hard dance, Anne Savage, Mark Sherry, The Warp brothers (blade), Charlotte birch, lee haslam, amber D and many more. Late 2006 I went traveling around the world, where I really got into electro and house and techno. Id always liked those styles but not played them as much.
Up until 2007, previously being a vinyl purist I mixed traditionally with records and then moved to cds, then I discovered a program called "Ableton live", which is a program designed for production as well as Djing. I Dj via my laptop and an external mixer. This program has given me the power of 6 or more "virtual decks" so I can be mixing 3 tunes at once, with an vocal acapella on top, a few drum loops and then add some Crazy effects thrown in for good measure. As you can guess this gives me so much more Djing power than just 2 decks.
In 2007 I dj'ed in Sydney Australia at Chinese Laundry club, and dj'ed for 3 months in various clubs in Phuket 3-4 times a week including: seduction, lime club, Kiss Club (resident), Liquid Lounge (resident) , Home , D Club - Crocdile. I was requested to come back to phuket to DJ in december 07 till march 08. Had several residency's again aswell as playing high season beach parties.
Been away DJing again but losing track, will keep a diary on here for future. Also Done radio and MC work quite a bit, which I love too
I also produce my own tracks; previously tracks have been hard dance, but been working on several house and electro ones today. You will hear them soon, some remixes are in my mash up mixes. The Mash up mash up mixes are on left side of this page.
