When you spend so much of your time focusing on the past, you pass up on not only moving forward with your own life, but meeting some wonderful people along the way. Once you yourself have moved on, you can grow with the person that you care or have feelings for. It's only then that you can give your best back to them and truly say "I Found Someone"I fell in love. I fell in love so bad it hurt. Love isn't supposed to leave you hurting, if it does then it's not true love. Maybe it's because this was my first love, you never really get over it. I think I was more in love with the idea of being in love, because I was in love with someone who would not love me back. You promised to be there and then you weren't, but somewhere along the way I know there's someone that will. Time...one simple word, has allowed me to grow up, in every way that a person can possibly grow up. I'm currently a student attending the University of Hawaii but my roots and how I got here started in a small town of 20,000 people in Central Canada. My family means everything to me because if there's anyone on this earth that's helped get me to where I am now, it's them. Since graduating HS in 2001 I've allowed myself time to figure out what it is that I wanted in life and that the decisions and friends I've made along the way have helped shape me into the person I am today
