Red Wave To The Blocks are a alternative rock band from Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. They were founded late 2006 and had a working lineup by summer 2007 which includes Aleksandar Stojkovic (the bands guitar player, vocalist and the principal songwriter), Raisa Pertovic (bass player) and Boris Jeric (drums and percussion). With ranging influences as varied as morphine to nine inch nails the band spent a better part of 2007 and first couple of months of 2008 recording and rehearsing. The result of those recordings is an EP entitled "Lets take a trip together" which the band released as a free download through this myspace page. They made their live debut in May 2008 at the infamous "Akademija" club in Belgrade and are a active live band ever since. They plan on entering the studio "Bare Wired" for the recording of their first full length album in march 2009.
