omt

omt, was born in 1981, growing up to the beat of his own drum in Istanbul, he found his muse in the art of music, he strived to create a form of release that can best be described as euphoric, cathartic and passionate. He started by taking music lessons, during this time he took classes with the likes of Timur Selcuk which was a wonderful experience for him. He also took choral and jazz classes at the modern music education center (founded by timur selcuk). omt continued working furiously on his music thereafter. Once in high school omt formed 2 bands, one named "perspective" the other''ehl-i keyf'' with these 2 bands he used the opportunity to gain on stage experience throughout Istanbul and other parts of Turkey. The experience was important to his growth as a musician, using this then to find his way onto a music television program where he played guitar for. omt then found a niche for teaching music at the Dogulu Music Center. He has provided not only musical intellect but has encouraged kids to find that musical level that cannot be taught only found in there soul. omt has in a time of musical bubblegum kept his music pure ,writing his own music and lyrics, he has also written a music soundtrack for the movie "2 luck 2 wishes" which he rather enjoyed and is now working other projects of the same variety. omt is not just a musician but also has a public relations degree and is now studying business management but his heart lies where it always was, working vigorously to satisfy that harmonic musical fire that burns in him. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------omt, müzige 15 yasinda kendi bestelerini yaparak basladi.. Ruhundan akan sihri melodilere ve sözlere dökmek hayati yasamanin kesif dolu ve keyif veren tarafiydi.. lise yillarinda arkadaslariyla kurdugu Perspektif ve Ehl-i Keyf adli rock gruplariyla birçok yerde konserler verdi. Sahne performansinin yani sira yine ayni dönemde 1 yil tv programi deneyimi edindi.. Ilerleyen dönemlerde kendini yetistirmek adina 7 yil boyunca birçok egitmenden dersler aldi.. Bununla yetinmeyen omt sonraki birkaç yilini müzik konusunda duayen olarak nitelendirilen Timur Selçuk'tan birebir armoni ve san, kurucusu ve sahibi oldugu Çagdas Müzik Egitim Merkezinden jazz ve koro egitimi alarak geçirdi.. 12 yildir kendi müzigini yapmanin keyfini sürmesinin yanisira 3 yildir da Dogulu Müzik Merkezinde egitmenlik yaparak farkli bir tada ulastigini söylüyor.. Bugüne kadar 200'e yakin ögrenci yetistiren omt, ögrencilerine müzik egitimi ile beraber "içindeki dünyayi kesfet"i asiliyor, bu konudaki desteginide onlara sunuyor.. Sözü ve müzigi kendisine ait olan sarkilarinin aranjelerini de kendisinin "yapmaya çalistigini" =) söylüyor.. Bunlarin disinda "2 Sans 2 Dilek" filminin müziklerini yaparak bu konuda da keyifli bir tecrübe edindi, hatta öylesine keyif aldi ki su siralar bu konuda çalismalar yapip kendini gelistirme gayretinde ve ideallerinden birini daha ilerleyen yillarda hayata geçirme dileginde.. Üniversite egitimini tamamlamak üzere olan omt, yapmayi hiç düsünmesede Halkla Iliskiler mezunu, sebebini bilmedigi halde Isletme Fakültesi 3.sinifa da devam etmekte.. =) Müzikteki keyifli yolculugunda, hergün bir adim daha ilerleyebilmek için çalismalarina devam ediyor..
