I am an old Techno Dj. I was born with music in the blood and RADIO in the heart. The music changed and has evolved in genres and styles. The Radio? It's only one:*ITALIANETWORK*. This is my life: Michael Hammer born on June 20th 1966. When he’s ten years old comes in contact with the world of radio, thanks to his older brother, who has the same passion. Michael remains impressed and fascinated by this new world, but he must wait eight years before to understand that radio will be his reason for living. During these eight years, Michael, started to cultivate the passion for theater and music. He joined a theater company and builds in his cellar, a recording studio. One day Michael answer successfully to an ad in which a radio station is looking for sound engineers and enter in the technical staff. This little reality teaches him the trades of technical director, speaker and post production. In 1989 comes the big occasion. Italia Network is looking for a technical director. Michael enters in the radio of his dreams. From 1990 to 1995 he covers these tasks: technical director, technical production, public relations, and manager for outside events. Is one of the first Dj in Italy to broadcast techno music on radio and, still in Italia Network, create a techno music program, MASTERQUICK. Michael performs in the best clubs in the Italian scene. In the recording studio he produces several records and, among them, the summer 1993 success Barraca Destroy. In 1995 he became artistic director of Radio Italia Network. In 1996, Michael, makes a major modification to a private italian radio, who setting its future. In fact he was the first in Italy to believe that the management and implementation of the radio broadcast could be done through computers. That create a fierce criticism, in those years, rained from all sectors, record companies, radio technicians, directors and artistic speaker, but history finally confirmed that Michael was right. At the end of 1999, he realized that Italia Network was no longer a publishing project, but was only a business, and that fact does not belong to him. So he leaves the dream. In 2000, Michael comes to the record company HIT MANIA which is the market leader of music compilations. In 2001, he returns to radio and follows the start up of the project RADIO LIFE GATE. From 2002 to 2007 Michael is back in his hometown. He continues to care for artistic advice of advertising agencies and web company. In 2007, with Gianni De Luise and Ezio Vallini, plan, designs and implements the draft re-start of his only love ItaliaNetwork. In parallel he works for the company FEEL of Padova which appoint Michael as Product Manager of MUSIC MASTER.
