I am here for Friends

About Me

If you ever got all my friends together in the same room someone would probably wind up dead. I'm and extrovert and an introvert all rolled into one. I love color but can easily be distracted by bright shinny colored nails (needless to say I leave mine unpolished for just such reasons). I'm a Leo so I can sometimes be bossy, although I like to think of it not as being bossy, but being efficient. I've been described as bubbly, but really I think that's better left for champagne. aphics/images/banners/prod_505_12479.gif" border="0" alt="Myspace Layouts" .."Myspace Layouts"

My Interests

Riding my bright yellow cruiser bike, throwing the ball for my dogs Ozzy the Pomeranian and Abby the Scottie. I love playing the party host. I think my next party may have to be a tea party, complete with proper tea and cups and saucers as a parting gift for everyone, but also with a tealeaf reader. Tea party with an edge.

I'd like to meet:

People who are enthusiastic about life, have a twisted sense of humour and appreciate my own twisted sense of humour (not a small task). Myspace For Girls Only - MyGirlySpace.com

Music:

I remember in school I used to love to make mixed tapes, especially for road trips. Of course now it's playlists on iTunes. I swear, iTunes is my porn. I love how they suggest different songs you might enjoy based on your latest purchase and I love to title my playlists: "songs for when I'm pissed off" "songs to break up to" "songs to make up to" "jr. high dance" "what I learned in college" "under the covers" (a mix of songs not performed by the original artist) "go dancing" (a mix of songs with the word 'dance' in the title) I have to buy the iTunes gift cards so I don't overspend. To look at my iPod you'd think I'm schizophrenic; I have everything from Johny Cash to Nine Inch Nails to showtunes.

Movies:

It's the holidays...time for the favorites: "A Christmas Story" "White Christmas" "A Christmas Carol" (the one with George C. Scott as Scrooge) "It's A Wonderful Life" "Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas" and "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation". I think I'll have a holiday movie marathon!

Television:

I'm loving renting/buying series and watching them without commercials or interruptions. I recently found some episodes of Seinfield I'd somehow missed, it was like getting a Christmas present.

Books:

I'm curretnly writing my own, perhaps I'll post some of it here some day. The working title: "Confessions of a fat chick: How I lost a Backstreet Boy" It's a work in progress for more than one reason (I haven't lost that Backstreet boy yet).

Heroes:

Anderson Cooper. He's forty, he's a smarty, he asks the tough questions, he's well traveled, he doesn't dye his white hair and he's dreamy.
