Cra-Bal, Cra-B to some, is a well rounded artist, songwriter, and producer whose music covers Hip-Hop, R&B and Pop. His music is a combination of diverse rap styles and unstoppable hard hitting beat, resulting in instant radio and club hits. Cra-Bal may be an unknown rap artist to some, but has been rapping on the underground scene for some time. Cra-Bals next objective is to turn out not only the radio and club scenes but also to add substance to Hip Hop as well as the Myspace community.27 year old St. Louis rapper, Cra-Bal, began rapping at the age of 13. It was during this period in his life when things started to change for his family and he began to look for an outlet for releasing his stressors. As Cra-Bal was toggled amongst the homes of different parents he began to excel at basketball, at this point his friends began to call him Cra-Bal (Crazy Baller).He Continued to play basketball throught high school. Upon differences with coaching staff as well as school itself, Cra-Bal chose the streets over hoop dreams allowing him a pathway into the music industry. Cra-Bal grabbed the attention of various labels in the St.Louis area thru unpresidented performances at venues such as Plush, Dreams and the High Pointe Cafe. Cra-Bal then signed with Omni Records (Located in Virginia) to a one record deal in 2002 unfortunately due to contractual differences, upon completion of the album, Cra-Bal is still searching for a major lable deal.
Cra-Bals performances have spoken for themselves thru his crazy poetic flow. He's earned recognition through his diverse collection of performances including Oakland, Ca, the Atrium in Atlanta, Ga. and numerous clubs and venues throught the St. Louis Metropolitan Area. He was also able to complete a 17 city tour with the Black Poetry Expo and is currently pending a performance opening for the 2007 Scream Fest Tour, August, 2007.
