Dance Native

Dance Native is a collaboration of electronic dance music and tribal rhythms. Shawn Moore, formerly known as the Shiva, has been performing throughout Florida for the last five years. Having graduated from Stetson University in 2000, Shawn demonstrates an advanced understanding of computers and software while performing. Shawn develops many of the plug-ins that he uses and creates innovative ways to energize each song. Simply put, Dance Native can be described as "music that makes the crowds move". Shawn admits to having a deep love for bass, which is apparent. Having lived through the battle of "the break-beats" versus "the straight-beats" era, Shawn attempts to keep the peace by uniting the two. Vocalist Joy Bang is featured on many of the Dance Native tracks. Her beautiful voice is the necessary bridge to complete the melody. Dance Native provides many rich layers woven into each performance. Kizzy Ko is the latest female talent to join Dance Native. Be sure to check out her new song "Ass on the dancefloor".
