Writing prosetry, writing short stories, reading, planting and tending flowers as the seasons allow, cross-stitching, my dogs and their routines, my husband, my children and their exploits, and I love family. I have many other interests, a lot of them are superficial or not...
The Dala Lama, others who are laughing their "belly laughs" at a comedy club, my long gone Mother, (I could use her advice many times over!). I would love to meet other people on line who love to write and practice their poetry-prosetry on others and don't care if it is well liked or perfect. I love intellectual people and people who challenge me with their words and thoughts; not that I would necessarily agree with them, but maybe I would challenge them back. I can converse in a deep sense or shallow, whichever the conversationalist would like or have to offer. May not talk for long, but never know! LOL...I love meeting authors at book signings and get their autographed books, but never intrude on them with simpleton questions. The list of people
I would like to meet is and could be endless. I like centered people who are not narcissistic. I have a lot to say about narcissists, they are their own world.
I am not a music snob. I love rock and roll, rap, country, alternative, and the old standby's Bach, Beethoven, and many others. I like the music that fits my mood at any particular time.
All different kinds, but especially thrillers, scary movies, period movies, autobiography's and etc.
Crime shows, Interventions, Paranormal States, The Haunting, CSI's-all of them, and so much more and less. Sometimes, I don't like tv at all. When I write, it is with silence, so I can "mind think".
My favorite book I've ever read many times over; Ernest Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea". It pretty much lays life and memories, and growing old as timeless passages. Other books I like are any I pick up that capture my interest in the first page, grabs me, and I can't put it down until it is done or my eyes give out.
My husband who trods on when I have finished plowing through the politics of careers; my children who forever amaze me, objective people who can listen and not say soothing words that hold no comfort; Billy Graham, and my dogs who show unconditional love and fast wagging tails, and enthusiasm daily; The Rosary.
