Originally known as 'The Fiancees', THE GORETTES were born of fire at Jim Diamond's Ghetto Recorders Studio in Detroit, MI while the GGG laid down tracks for 'Get The Gore' ( Bloodshot Records, June 26, 2007 ).
Founding members are Nikki Corvette, Casey 'Sweet Thang' Dawson, Korin Louise Cox (The Hard Lessons) and the Sisters Lucas, Julie and Loretta Lucas.
Once brought to the stage for the Gore Gore Girls' record release parties in Detroit and Chicago, the performing group became Loretta and Julie Lucas with Aran 'Baby' Ruth adding more sugar to the mix.
