Late one night in 2004, a full blooded Jack Russel named Annie escaped the confines of her owners home to have a heated night out on the town. She met up with a stranger and the two became entangled in a short term overnight relationship. The consequences of that night would change her life and the lives of those around her forever as Annie found out she had fallen pregnant to this stranger in the night.
The day came for delivery and six puppies were delivered. One was born with his head tucked into his chest and unable to breathe, he was blue and close to death. Annie's owners resuscitated the young pup and although now breathing and with colour returning to his body, they would find that the puppy was unable to move his back legs.

Much care and attention was given and before long the young pup that almost missed out on a life, was able to walk. He grew fast and became much bigger than his siblings in both size and personality.

Originally named 'Chops' at birth, a name change occurred soon after and he was known by his family as 'Bosco' for many months. This was until a friend of the family who had become close to Bosco had decided to adopt him to give him a better chance to live the life he was destined for. It wasn't long before his original birth name was officially re-instated and his new life was to begin.

His new master, a certified rock and roll trashbag, guided Chops, trained Chops and gave Chops the opportunity to grow, not just as a dog, but as a person. Chops ate what his master ate, slept where his master slept and played where his master played. It was these formative years that made Chops the dog he is today.

Chops never got to meet his paternal father, so much mystery surrounds what his paternal bloodline may be. Some would suggest terrier, maybe silky but one thing is for sure, when it comes to Chops, there is definitely more than meets the eye.

Relatively young, 21 dog years old, chops is a true star who continues to affect the lives of many that he has come into contact with, both Human and K-9.

He resides now in the modern Bohemian inner city suburb of Newtown and can be seen taking walks along King Street or lazing outside the many coffee shops of the district. Wherever Chops walks he creates around him a sea of smiling faces, this is probably his biggest asset. He is also constantly stopped by ladies and bitches in the street who cannot keep their hands off him but luckily he was brought up to dig it.
