About Me

I was born in Monroe, Wisconsin, Swiss Cheese capital of the U.S.A. I have consumed mass quantities of cheese during my lifetime. Also beer and bratwursts. My early influences were old Switzers blowing their alphorns and my next door neighbor's constant accordian practicing. Years later I moved to Minneapolis and started listening to bands like the Replacements, The Suburbs, Koerner, Ray and Glover, Husker Du, Cats under the Stars and Willie Murphy (God Bless him) not to mention Prince and the Minnesota Barking Ducks. I learned about the blues and bluegrass and played and wrote for a band called Fielding Mellish. That all dried up after much fun and little fame so I soon after followed my beloved Carmel to the Left Coast where we married and in time produced 4 small children who are all musicians and tennis players in various order. My Oldest, Olen, is the pretty voice heard in the opening of "Amazing Grace Blues". I played and wrote with the Faithful Soldier band during the 90's. Now I play and sing for the elderly and infirm on a daily basis as well as being part of the Kittelsen Family Band. I will also perform my songs for anyone who will listen. I hope you will. I am available for weddings, funerals, private parties and anything else that's going on. Thanks for reading this.I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
