Elika Crespo

I was born and raised in Miami of Cuban parents. I am very proud of my culture and love to enrich my music with Afro Cuban rhythms. As an artist, I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to cross collaborate my music and film career. On film and television side, I have done several shows that include: CSI Miami, Dexter, Everybody Hates Chris and Kingpin to name a few. My latest film was called SPIN. This film helped me grasp a better understanding of what motivates and inspires me as an actress. I also had the privilege to contributing 3 songs to the soundtrack of Spin as a songwriter and performer. On the music side, I am currently working with Producer songwriter and musician, TiCar. He is doing an extraordinary job in fusing Afro Cuban Latin Rhythms coupled with a hip-hop R&B base. I have classical training in dance and intend to create a show that will inspire many to learn about my roots and what I represent as a young Cuban American. I’ve had the pleasure to work with several talented artists that have inspired me through out my musical and acting journey. ..
