Listen to me for a second my dear.
We’ve been together for quite a while now.
Just a little over a year.
But I do need to say something and make this vow.
I know we go through our little arguments
A lot of the times
I’m sorry that I add to that and get a little bent
Some of the times.
I need you to know though
You mean everything to me
And I can never let you go
But if I must…
let’s wait for each other, maybe we are meant to be
But anyhow, I will promise you today
I’m going to become a better girlfriend
In less than thirty days.
You bring out the best I have in me,
But some times I am still too shy
To let anyone else see.
I promise you though,
You won’t regret having me as your lover.
I love you so damn much,
There will never be another.
When the time comes,
You’ll see what I mean
But baby please be patient.
The time is almost here, before you turn twenty.
