Evaggelos Georgiou...Professional Drummer born in Xanthi 18/09/1968 raised in Samothraki Island north of Greece with a lot of traditional greek island music...- Completed his studies at New Conservatory of Thessaloniki with Cristopher Baka 1991-1997 and Fillipos Nakas 1997-1999 with Kosta Anastasiadi, (attended seminars at Berklee Umbria Jazz(summer 03,04)with Ron Savage and WITH:: Elvin Jones, Horacio El Negro Hernadez,Joe Lovano,Michele Camillo,Bobby Mac Ferin following private lessons several times with Kosta Anastasiadi(endless lessons ) Robby Ameen(endless love and respect), Ari Hoening, Keith Carlock, John Riley ,Steve Hass,Cliff Almond. Working at the municipality music school of Alexandroupolis. Playing at numerless greek music places and sceenes greek odd traditional and folk music. Touring all over Greece and playing in Festivals and gigs with groups:
