Books:

my fave is Pedagogy of the Oppressed by Paulo Friere. the last couple books I have read are Basta, about the Zapatista rebellion in Chiapas, Madame Sadayakko, a non-fiction book about one of the most famous geishas, House of Bush, House of Saud, about the connection between the Bush family and the Saudis including the bin ladens, a biography about Ghandi, an autobiography called They Keep the Animals Caged at Night, and the biography of Che Guevara by Jorge Castaneda. Currently I am reading Big Box Swindle about big box stores like Home Depot and Wal-Mart. The next book I am going to read is called Masters of War, a political science book about how the US has fucked over a shitload of Latin American countries since the Cuban Revolution!
