About Me

Hailing from ‘The Paddock’ Canterbury, Lone Woodland Still are collaborators Jamie Marmon and Patrick Smiley. The duo met at University, before picking up their acoustic guitars and enlisting on occasion, vagabonds and stragglers to create multi layered, haunting ethereal compositions encorporating psychedelic elements, reverb, found sound, and a variety of instruments, many of which they are learning to play as they go along. The band take their name from a German fairy tale, "Der Blonde Eckert"
