As I walk into the room that was once scattered with toys and sounds of joy I hear the quiet surrounding me, the bed is made instead of scattered to the floor. Where cute little dresses and jeans once hng are empty hangers and a few clothes out grown. Pictures of forgotten rock and movie stars stare back from once bright walls now gone dull. The china plates covered in dust, the carousels turning to rust. I smell faint whisps of perfume that is fading with time. I see the screen that still needs repair; where someone slipped out one night I'm sure on a dare! The empty space in my home is as large as the void in my heart. I pick up a pillow and see stains of tears and wonder, was it something I said, or did, maybe I just didn't hear. If only I could do it again maybe my child would still be here, or maybe just think of me with a kind heart- come see me- call- write, maybe just let me know I did something right- or just tell me she loves me...love; Daddy Smith

My baby brother is my biggest hero simply because he always knows what to say, he has a huge amount of respect and he treats his women better than i could have ever dreamed of having (Better than a queen). My parents; because if they can put up with all the shit I put them through and the shit they have been through on there own... staying together for a dog because they knew there was love there it was just hiding, driving truck together, having kids and being married for going on 32 years and much much more and still love me, my brother and each other they have to be strong. And last but definatly not least... my best friends, Dina- BFFs for 11 years already, and Kami- BFFs for 3 years and both still going strong... because no matter what we've been through they have and will always be there. until the day we die... I love you all.
