i love to write.
i'm rediscovering a love of reading that i lost in college after being forced to read books that were of no interest to me.
i love baseball. after a period of struggle in an important relationship it was baseball and our late night talks after games that brought us back together.
art. i love photography (still and video). i love to draw (i don't think i'm great, but my mom does. check out my pictures i've got some stuff in there).
i love spending time with friends and family.
music is and always will be the most important interest in my life. these poets are sent to earth and tell the stories of their lives and the lives of others in a medium that reaches so many people. i've always had the desire to create the soundtrack to my life. but honestly i don't think that apple even makes an iPod that would be large enough to hold all of the important songs that have touched me over the years on it. whether it be a classic rock song, a pop punk song, a country song, a pop song or a hip hop song. if the lyrics have an emotion that reaches me it's something that i will carry with me for the rest of my life. it's a gift. one of the best gifts and i love to share the music that i love with the people that i love. i love to listen to music in it's truest form, vinyl. i collect it and not just for the monetary value or to frame it on my wall. it lines shelves and is stacked around my apartment. listening to vinyl there is a warmth that an mp3 lacks (don't get me wrong i'm not often without my iPod) but it truly is the way music was meant to be listened to....yeah i know i'm a geek and i'm the missing character from high fidelity.
umm anyone...i love meeting new people especially if we share similar interests. there are probably a few famous people on the list but half the time you meet them they are jackasses and ruin it all.
i would love to meet the people who started and inspired the organization "To Write Love On Her Arms". they are doing such great work and targeting people that often times are overlooked by the general public. the story of how it began is inspiring and something that helped me out when i was in a very dark place. click the link. visit their website. buy a shirt. help support the cause.

Musical Heroes: The Beatles...mainly just George Harrison. His music was outstanding and he was an incredible guitarist who is overlooked in the realm of best rock guitarists constantly. Plus he was a damn fine human being.
Personal Heroes: My family...they are all such strong, intelligent and driven people...I'm lucky to have them in my life
My Inspiration: Andrew McMahon...he's a true artist in every sense of the word...he has more courage than ten people could dream of having. His words inspire my life and his music inspires my soul. *wow that was deep*
