About Me

Somewhere back in the mid-90's a fresh faced Belgradian
ex-pat living in the Novi Sad decided he was going to put down his bass guitar, pick up a Synthesizer, and name himself after a David Lynch movie "Dune".The resulting album, Moshadd's-Quizatz Haderach signaled Moshadd's entry into the world of electronic music. Well actually there's a pre-Moshadd project also, but everybody knows not to talk about it... but if you get Moshadd really drunk... actually no, even then he won't play it for you.
Immediately upon hearing this record, the powers that be at Technokratia signed him up to performe as Analogue Synthesis, and he quickly went to work on his debut 'Light Shinning Darkly'. If you'll recall, these were the 'Drill' years for electronic music, where any clown with a sampler and a collection of Warp records could knock off some half-baked boutique hotel background music. But 'Light shinning darkly' shone above all that. Although employing a marriage of Hip&Square and beats, it stretched it further by bringing in elements of trance, breakbeat, and jungle, and combining it with a sense of song-writing that elevated it above the standards of that aforementioned scene. I mean hell, it has a song on it which was inspired by Moshadd taking a piss on his neighbors housewall after some domestic living dispute (‘pissfield’)...this was clearly no good vibes trancey beats man Technokratia had signed.
Next up came final name...Terrabeats&Moshadd A marriage of Jazz,Athmosphere,Dnb,Drill&Classical music. A result is Self-satisfying album"My digital garden" It comes a new world of music with beautyfull tracks like "Images:Tuilleries"theme by Modest M. and "One faun day" by Claude Debussy in Moshadd's collaboration...
And finnaly new album"Useless Noise" Inspired with wild woman, and her wild lifestyle,Moshadd decided to recontstruct his own way of creating music and begin to record a live instruments and make experiments with those samples and combine with live strings, drums and natural sound fx. The monster was born...
Genius of noise manipulation and uncompromising musical auteur, Moshadd is set to release "Useless noise"his most conceptually satisfying and beautiful album to date. After finishing work on his Self-satisfying album "My digital garden"Moshadd decided it as time to re-think his compositional processes.Having made several albums from reconstructed vinyl sources it was time to look at whatelse could be pulled apart and reconfigured.Moshadd had been told aboutthe work of foley artists and this served as an inspiration.
A Useless noise is where the sound effects are recorded for films. Foley artists use their imagination and ingenuity to make the right noise for the situation they are presented with. With this in mind,Moshadd and a team of assistants headed out into the streets with high sensitivity microphones and recorded found sounds from cello roaring to reverbed drums, with streets fx
kitchen utensils to bycycle wheels to water dripping from a tap. This isn't an avant garde or deliberately obtuse record, rather a way for Moshadd to freshen up his approach to music whilst tipping his cap to the musique-concrete and found sound pioneers of the past. The results are immediately apparent And, as ever with Moshadd, there are moments of spectral oddness as well as those of sheer exhilaration.Enjoy
