There's just so much more than the eye can see, which can be true about everyone, but this smile hides the wearies of my past, becuz i've burned all my bridges, but i still see the embers of what i've left behind, and i often shed a tear to what i've left, but i can't tell you how that blaze has brightened my life, but it has also dimmed my future. I live my life in the here and now, becuz the future is unpredictable, and i never meet my goals, so why set myself up for failure, and there's no sense dwelling in the past, becuz what's done is done, there's just no sense in trying to get things back to the way they were, cuz the only constant thing in life is the consistency of change. You can sit in front of a mirror, and say your the same, but after a while, you start to see a different person staring back at you. I see a creature that lurks within, who is the person i've always wanted to be, but i could never muster up the confidence or the courage or the motivation to become what i've hated, cuz i always hold myself back, and I never made the right decisions when it mattered the most, but i live a life with no regrets, cuz at this point in time, it's a waste of time to decide whether i made the best choice or not, cuz life never just goes on standby for you to figure things out. You have to learn to live life on the fly, and i'm struggling to do so, but then again nobody's capable of living like that forever... Now the more recent distinctive points of my life: This summer has probably been the best summer of my life, as promised, but i had to adapt to a lot of changes, and i've been through so much, that i just can't help but to feel so much more mature. Going into my senior year, i feel like this summer was appropriate, but i just wish it wasn't as hectic. So much happened in so little time. I felt like all the good things in life have been taken away from me, and gradually are given back to me, piece by piece... Well my pieces are finally falling into place. The puzzle doesn't look as pretty as i was hoping, but there are just some parts that seem flawless... Like my friends. They've seen me at my highest of highs, and my rock bottom of lows. They've seen me drink myself to the bottom of a bottle in somber depression, but they've always been able to pull me out. My lifelines, my life, my greatest joys are thanks to the people that i can call my friends, to the people that i can call my family away from home. These people do so much for me, yet i do nothing for them, but they still never wana see me cry, cuz that's something i think we've all seen a little too much of, and everyday they humor me and are just flat out amazing. My friends are second to none. I guarantee it. =D... Then my very close family, my dad and my brother. They've been through just about everything with me, and my dad's watched me crash and burn, but still supports me in whatever i do. My brother was the best role model i could ask for, even though he was a role model of what not to do, he set a path for me in life, whether he knew it or not, my life's been based off his mistakes and how not to repeat them. I couldn't really stick to that path, but i'm prepared to take on just about anything after hearing all the bullshit my brother's been through, and how he can keep moving on, keeps me moving. My dad, there's just so much to say about this man. He's been passed hell, and carried me and my bro through it all, just so he could unexpectedly rise his way to the top of my world. My dad's extraordinary, cuz no one should have had to go through what he went through by himself. Idk how he did, but i'm proud to call him my dad... My shiny, new, favorite piece to my puzzle, My beloved girlfriend Karissa. Where to start with this one. I guess we could start from the beginning, since it's only been a month and a half, but there's no fun in telling a story that's still to develop. ;). But as i look back at this summer. I don't think anything could've been better for me than how we just clicked and everything started to get better and better. She's been what i'm looking for, but so much more. She met all my high standards, and exceeded most of them. Ever since she's been in my life, everything feels so mystical, like i'm dreaming, and when i feel her lips press against my skin, i feel like i can fly, but her eyes keep me grounded and her touch let's me know that she's real, and her heart is safe with me, cuz i couldn't stand to hurt such an amazing person that i love with all my heart. =). ♥... This crazy/awesome/beautiful/tragic/mystery puzzle of mine has yet to be complete, but the pieces are there, i just needed to find them.

When Gray wrote the lines about a flower "born to blush unseen and waste its sweetness on the desert air," he certainly wasn't describing a Leo. You might see this man basking in the bright sunlight, and you may find him mak­ing flowery speeches, but it won't be in the solitude of the desert. Most likely it will be on a stage or in front of a circle of adoring friends and relatives. He may waste money, but he's not about to waste his sweetness in the empty air. There will always be an audience.
There you are, in a nutshell. The secret of snaring the lion is that simple. Be his audience. Totally different from the reluctant Virgo and Aquarian males, your Leo pal will happily succumb to the throes of delicious romance, if you play your cards right, adore him, flatter him, and respect him.
Is he a flamboyant August male? Wear dark glasses and submit to his brilliant sunlight. Is he one of the gentle, quiet Leos? Don't be taken in by his sleek softness. Not always, but very often, there's an odd twist to Leo males. Unlike the Capricorn, who seeks to rise socially through wedlock, the lion sometimes tends to marry be­neath him. He has as much desire for social status, but he just can't resist acquiring a "subject" to whom he's superior. It's sad. but true- that Leos seldom raise large families. Many of them have no children, are separated from them, or raist an only child. Don't give the young­sters more attention than you give him, or you may end up with quite a lot of trouble on your hands in the form of a giant bruised ego, which will be nearly impossible to heal.
How can you size up the puzzling male Leo? Is he kindhearted or dangerous, generous or cruelly selfish? Is he really a sociable fellow who loves people? Does he gain his reputation for superiority under false pretenses, or does he, like the real lion, deserve to be called King? Obviously, by his own standards at least, he does deserve to be the Lord and Master in his love life and his career. You have to admit that he's usually highly successful in both romance and business.
Whether the Leo man is truly a king, or just a pretender to the throne, we may never know. But there are several things you do know about your own lion. He has in­satiable appetites, and he's as proud as a peacock. He has am enormous need to command and to be loved by those he rules. Remember that Leo secretly fears he may fail and be ridiculed. It's a constant inner torture, and the true source of his vanity and exaggerated dignity. Yet, when his nobility has been aroused by a great cause, he knows no fear. Only then does the lion learn that the magnificent strength and courage he's been pretending to have has really been there all along.
Your Leo may drive you wild by his antics during court­ship, but he's not at all a bad mate for a long term possi­bility.
