Well if you didn’t know, my name is Shane Bluford and I’m a 21 yr old guy from California, born and raised in South Central, Los Angeles. I’m mixed with Belizean, Black, White, and Creole. Got to love being mixed ha-ha. My father left when I was 3 yrs old, and to this day I still haven’t heard from him. My mom was forced to raise me and my older sister by herself. I’ve been told that I have 3 other sisters and 4 brothers on my fathers side and Yes, I’m the baby out of them all but I haven’t seen or spoke to any of them. I just recently found out through one of my aunts that one of my brothers was killed in Texas back in 2004.
As a kid, me, my sister, and my mom moved around a lot and it was never in the best of neighborhoods. Everywhere we moved seemed to have some type of gang affiliation in the area so it was pretty scary to play outside sometimes with some of the things that were going on. And because of the areas we stayed around, the schools wasn’t any better. My mom couldn’t afford to send me to private school, so I had no choice but to go to public school. I ended up going to some of the roughest schools in Los Angeles. Pretty much every other week something was going on inside the school that was attracting the attention of the media and the law enforcement. Sports was my get away from all the drama. I’m a die-hard Lakers fan, USC football fan, UCLA basketball fan, LA Dodgers fan, and a Philadelphia Eagles football fan. I started taking karate when I was 5 yrs old and I stopped once I earned my Black belt with a 1st degree. Started running track when I was 9 and come to find out, that was the right sport for me. I ran from then all the way through high school and made it to the city finals each year. I also played football, unfortunately our football team wasn’t as good as our track team. And because of that and the school that we went to, getting a scholarship to a university wasn’t as easy for us as it was for others. So I had to settle for a junior college and Los Angeles Harbor College is where I ended up.
Once I graduated high school, that’s when the real problems came. My mom was struggling to keep up with the mortgage, I had to start helping out with things around the house, couldn’t find a steady job anywhere, every job I came across was only temporary and it started to get frustrating. So I had to find different ways to make money to help out. I started washing cars, cutting and watering lawns, walking people’s dogs, anything I could find to make some money and it was completely stressing me out. It came to a point where I was actually thinking about joining the Navy or the Air Force. The only thing that was taking my mind off all of that was the fact that I was playing football for my junior college and I was doing good with it. I was getting scouted by a lot of big schools like: Oregon, Oregon State, Kansas State, Iowa State, LSU, Utah, Arizona, Arizona State, just to name a few. But not to long before signing day I ended up separating my shoulder and slowly but surely those scholarship offers started to fade away. The University of Akron in Ohio called me and told me they wanted to take me as a walk-on but I found out I wouldn’t be receiving financial aid and school cost $26,000 for the year which I couldn’t afford to pay out of my own pocket. Not to mention my shoulder was a major problem. So I ended up staying here in California and attended Cal State University of Dominguez Hills where they had no football team, or men’s track and field. Honestly I didn’t even want to go there. The only reason I did is because the school accepted me at the last minute when I got back from Ohio. But when I got there, financial aid was no better. They were actually talking about cutting the student aid and what made it worse is that I was taking 19 units. So not having the money to buy books for my classes just made life even more stressful.
After going through all of that, I decided that I needed to make a major change in my life and I needed to make some serious money. Even if it meant I had to work two or three jobs. So I was on Craigslist and I seen an ad that said make $3000-$5000 in your first month working from home. That immediately caught my attention. So I checked it out and it was a guy marketing off his company looking for business partners. I wasn’t interested in his business, but I was definitely interested in the amount of money you could make from home. That’s when I started to take a look at Internet Marketing and Network Marketing. I started reading books, magazines, articles, anything I could find that had to do with Network Marketing. I learned from some of the top money earners in this industry, Mike Dilliard, Dennis Karganilla, Jimmy Davis, Jonathan Budd, Brian Finale, I’ve learned from them all. But one day I was at the beach relaxing and it came to me. I figured out exactly what it is that these top earners do and why they are so successful doing it. After I noticed it, I kind of laughed to myself and said, “Man, It’s really that simple.†And once I put it into effect I started to see the same type of results. It was the best decision I ever made in my life and I wouldn’t change it for nothing at all. I’m living a good life physically and financially. Now I help others achieve the goals they want and help them live the lifestyle they always dreamed of. I’m all about helping others because I know what it was like to start out fresh and not knowing where and how to start. And also because I know that by helping others succeed, God will continue to reward me greatly.
So that’s why I created this Myspace page. This really changed my life and I would love to network and work with like minded people and really get the word out. So I encourage you to send me message or even a comment. I would love to chat and hear your story.
