Bryant aka T. McGinnis: That Rappin’ Fat Kid

About Me

Joined the army in '00. Got out that in April '05. Started actually writing/recording as I was coming out of the army. I got one semi-album/mixtape of the only 10 tracks I ever did, but I haven't recorded since '06. I been wantin' to get back on the music scene, but I honestly been procrastinating and just putting it off. But now, in the '09, I'm back in my hometown of Baltimore, MD with the fam and my old friends hoping to get back on the music scene and spit sum hot fire. I don't work fast on the music cause I think I'm a perfectionist, but when I drop it, I hope I get sum credit =P. As for my style/flow, I am by no means a gangsta hehe. I ain't out thuggin' and robbin' niggas. I ain't ridin' on 20's and all that diamonds in my chain shit. I ain't out to go platinum or nuthin'. I ain't tryin' to start a movement. Just beats, rhymes and life. And most of all, I ain't lookin' for anybody's approval. So don't you fuckin' judge me!! Let us move on.

My Interests

Music:

Influences: I'm diggin' all types of music. From Anthony Hamilton to Eric Roberson to Kanye West to Royce da 5'9". Tupac's rawness, Biggie's bravado, Jay-Z's swag, Andre 3000's creativity, Papoose's versatility, Immortal Technique's aggressive realism, and Little Brother is the shit. Although I love rap/hip-hop, my first love is R&B. Old and new, from Boys II Men to John Legend, Jodeci to The Stylistics, Ruff Endz to The Isley Bros. Hell even take it to B.B. King and Bob Marley. Musiq (Souldchild) is one of my favorites too. You really should see my iPod, it's not a rumor lol. Not a big fan of country though lol sorry. I want to be able to throw a little of anything into my music if I can.
Sounds Like: An east coast brotha wit a microphone! That is all.
Record Label: Fuck my record label, I appear courtesy of myself!
