I am a Brazilian comic book artist,painter and writer.
I have been working on Brazilian sci-fi and horror magazines since I discovered the Warren magazines long time ago.
Creepy and Eerie really changed my life, not only by the stunning art work but also by the wonderful stories.
Many years later I started to work for the American market of comics producing mainly painted covers for such projects as STARGATE SG-1 and ATLANTIS,FRIDAY THE 13TH, A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, George Romero's NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD and John Russo's PLAGUE OF THE LIVING DEAD..
I also work in portraits and in photorealistc illustrations for books and magazines.
I use the computer to help with my layouts but the final work is entirely freehand.
I use airbrush, acrylics, Prismacolors and sometimes pointillism (colored pointillism).
I am still experimenting with my art because I never get completely satisfied with the results of my work.
