The name CYBERTRON comes from the fusion of two terms:
- CYBERnetics: The science of communication and the control theory that is concerned especially with the comparative study of automatic control systems as with the nervous system, brain and electro-mechanical communication systems.
- TRON: Suffix denoting an instrument or device.
The project started in September 2001 when some electro-spiritual beings in ultraviolet start to manipulate some mechanical devices in order to create body-shaking electronic music.
Soon the band is considered as the perfect soundtrack to the most famous italian alternative nights, a bunch of exhibitions at Ritual, La Nuite De Sade, Jungle, Alpha Omega, Transilvania make CYBERTRON become the definitive italian hardhouse-cybertrance live-act.
