Singer/songwriter Tara Voight, is committed to her love of music and performance. Growing up in Los Angeles, CA, she attended a private literacy and arts academy where she held her first solo performance. Since then, Tara has been featured on MTV for her rich and powerful voice, and performed in over 10 industry showcases in Los Angeles as a solo artist. Last year she was chosen to showcase for Industry Executives from Sony and Mercury Records for a project they were putting together in Boston. Not to mention, she was the only one left standing out of the hundreds for the final round of the Pussy Cat Dolls Presents... Boston auditions. Robyn Antin, the creator of the show and the Pussy Cat Dolls, met with Tara afterwards and complimented her amazing and natural talent.
Tara is currently working on her demo CD with producer and voice instructor, Ric Poulin. With influences from all genres of music, such as Alicia Keys, Faith HIll, Kelly Clarkson and Christina Aguilera, her music is going to be unlike anything that is being done today. Expect to hear unique rock/pop tracks and r&b influenced vocals. So be sure to check back soon for upcoming shows and to hear some of her original music.
