SOMNIO: To Dream or Imagine Foolishly.
My name is Lance Cunningham. I am the owner and operator of the Somnio Artist Group, a rapidly growing independent label, management, and promotions company. The Somnio roster currently consists of Twin Cities artists: Absent I , A Verse Unsung , Far From Falling , and Rise or Rust with more artists to be announced soon.
I also serve on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Music Academy and am the current Vice President and Fundraising Chair. I am honored to be leader in such a great organization serving Minnesota Music community to encourage growth and prosperity.
During the day, I work as an IT Design Specialist for the University of Minnesota. I manage several projects involving the use of audio and video to deliver and/or enhance University courses, promote new media communication, and the advancement of new technologies on campus.
When I do find some time for myself, I prefer to spend it doing relaxing activities that are good for the soul. I golf and fish whenever possible. And when I can, I enjoy exploring the world through traveling, camping, hiking, etc. I also have a fascination for motorcycles from growing up racing Motocross. I have been a Minnesota Motocross State Champion three times. However, now I simply ride for enjoyment either out in the dirt on my Honda 250, or on the road with my 1203cc Buell M2
