Born Warren Weise, out of the small town call Little London in the rural part of Westmoreland in the tropical Country Jamaica. Young Warren was a handful for his single mother and siblings.......However it wasn’t easy for his mother to survive in the country side without a father. Having three kids for three different fathers didn’t make the situation any better, Warren’s Mother had it very hard, so she decided to move to Montego Bay (MoBay), St. James to seek a better living. In St. James,his big brother, and his sister began going to school. The first school they attended was the Mt. Carey Village basic School, to the Anchovy Primary School.
These small villages were in the parish of St. James about 15 -20 minutes out of Montego Bay. Leaving their community to live in St. James, wasn’t easy at all. So their mother decided to return to her community. Taking care of three children was so hard. So his mother decided to leave him with a friend of hers. This friend is a lady that had no kids. This lady become Warren’s mother. She took very good care of him. This lady is living in Mt. Carey St. James after living in Mt. Carey for a period of time. he began to attend the Mt. Carey S.D.A. church where he started to sing. It didn’t stop there, he began singing at concerts in his community and at school.Warren’s friends always encouraged him to be serious about being a singer. After leaving Primary school, he went to Anchovy High School. At that time he began to listen music on a more wider scale.
His favourite artists were, Barrington Levy, Sugar Minott, Cocoa Tea and John Holt in that time. But in this time his greatest inspiration came from Sizzla, Anthony B, and Capleton. He chose The Rasta Way of life on his own, and He fully believed in his choice, Hence The Name JAH WEISE aka JAH WISE both of them have been his stage name for the longest time. THe music is growing and he has been growing with the Music. Music is my life, and I need you the fans to help me to strive Jah Weise says. He is now working on his Debut Album with the young Producer Dj Stunna and it has been good can’t complain, He have been doing shows here and there but still looking for the big break and with must rich records its near, i have recorded my first official single on the BLACK HISTORY RIDDIM so check it out on my myspace and also vote for it at irie fm www.iriefm.net and request it, endorse it and love it.
His Debut album will be coming out late 2007 and with tracks like A WOMAN’ BABY and WE CAN’T TEK THIS that have been underground hitz at the dance and in the mobay area will be sure to hit in the world, looking to work with different producers and artistes to build a well remembered musical Career One LOVE and Thanks for the LOVE AND SUPPORT!!! For my first album I am looking to do collab with MUNGA,SEAN PAUL,JAH CURE,SIZZLA,TURBULENCE and ANTHONY B as major artiste out there so that’s my aim and with the almighty it will happen.
