Napalm the Bomb on Stage
.. Free MySpace BackgroundsBoom! Napalm’s rap career can be credited to a teacher that noticed his poetry writing skills and entered him into a contest in 1989. He didn’t win but he was noticed for his talent. Poetry soon turned to rap and Napalm’s peers challenged him to freestyle on various topics. Napalm went from free styling to writing songs. In 1993 he was asked by his teacher to write a drug free song for the D.A.R.E. Contest. Napalm won his first contest at Fews Elementary School in Montgomery, AL. In 1994 at Bellingrath Junior High School. Napalm began to freestyle battle with other rappers. He then began to enter other contests and joined the band as well. In 1995 he moved from Montgomery, to Campbellton, FL. and went to school at Graceville High School, where he honed his musical talents in the marching band. Napalm took what he had learned in the band and began to compose his own music for his songs. In 1999 he teamed up with other rappers and a producer in that area. They called themselves “The Flow Ridersâ€.Napalm and the Flow Riders released their 1st tape out and entitled it “Green Watersâ€. Shortly after a few hundred sales and some mild conflicts Napalm separated from the Flow Riders. Many people had advised Napalm to be a solo artist due to the fact that he is on a mission of destiny. He started his own solo album entitled “No Love Lostâ€. It was advertised on The Green Waters album but was never released. Napalm producers parted in 2000. In 2001 he moved back to Montgomery, AL. and started over with his new name “Napalm†which is a type of bomb. He began with a demo that had four songs on it and was signed by Platium Album Records. Napalm’s 1st album was self-titled. In 2002 he continued without Platium Album Records and went solo launching his “Ace of Spades album. In 2004 he enhanced his name to “Napalm The Bomb†and dropped his 3rd album called “It’s A Jungle Out Thereâ€. From 2005 to 2006 Napalm The Bomb hosted and Mc’ed at several club and parties. In 2007 he started building his status back up in free style battles at a local clubs hosted by Maxximum with other rappers from AL, GA, FL. It was here that he gained respect from other rappers and the public as well. In March of 2007 he entered into the South Eastern Hip Hop Idol competition. After three long weeks of performing, he became a finalist. When the competition ended he dropped his 1st hit single entitled “Work Thatâ€. Napalm started promoting his new album entitled “ The Uncannyâ€. In May of 2007 on WKXN107.1 He was the number one underground artist with his single “Work Thatâ€. He was recognized in Ozone Magazine from the attention he received by doing the free style battles in Alabama. Napalm has such a new style about himself that makes him stand out from the others. “A hype man and a Rap Artist all in one Boom! “The New King of Hypeâ€, which he was crowned by his fans. He then launched his new album entitled “The Uncanny†in 2008 which means mysterious, supernatural character. On August 2008 Napalm was discovered by Canaan International Modeling and Talent Agency at the show while he was performing. Canaan discovered the he had another talent as a Super Top Model as well. Shortly after that on November 2, 2008 Napalm had 5 nominations by Alabama Maxximum Exposure Music Conference awards in which, he received awards for 2 out of 5 nominations. One award was for “Hustler of the Year 2008†and the second award was for “Most live stage Performance 2008. He was also noticed by “The Gulf Coast†Real Talk Urban awards show as well. He then went on to receive a nomination for Best Mixed Tape of the Year. Napalm’s career is steadily advancing to the Top!
