“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
- Nelson Mandela 1994 Inaugural Speech *******************************
What are you going to do today?
What are you going to do with the rest of your life?
Are you LIVING the life you were supposed to, or are you going through the motions?
Are you talking about what you're GOING TO DO or are you actually DOING IT??
Are you WAITING for something to happen or are you going out and making it happen?
FIND A PASSION! Find something that moves you. Then do something about it. It doesen't matter what that passion is.... as long as you've given yourself a reality check and that passion isn't based solely on feeding your own ego... If it is... is it really fulfilling you? Or are you just playing old tapes in your head.
Are you covincing yourself that this is the life you're supposed to be living because any other way is just too scary, not as glamorous or exciting, or just too damn hard?!?
How much reality are you able to handle without running away?
Ask yourself some serious questions! Look around you. What is happening in the world should be a WAKEUP CALL. This is not the time to crawl under a rock and escape. This is not the time to hide! This is not the time to push it under the carpet and pretend it doesen't exist.
Be brave enough to turn TOWARD the problem with your eyes wide open. If it makes you turn away... then force yourself to look at it, or examine why you won't?
Force yourself to choose something BIGGER over monetary pleasure.... monetary escape....that's going to leave you one day older, one year older until you die.
This is the only life we know about. Right here.... right now is all we have.
So what are you going to do with it?
Shake yourself awake! Find a purpose, find a passion, THEN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!
Thanks for listening :)
About Me: My name is Melissa and I am a proud Vegan and Personal Trainer. I became a Vegan when I realized how much that one step could help the planet and the environment.
If you'd like to learn how going Vegan helps the planet, feel free to cut and paste some of these links to learn more:

Even replacing a couple meals a week with a non-animal protein source instead of a meat source can help the planet immensely.
I was very worried that becoming Vegan would make me gain weight. I sought out a Dietitian who was willing to put together a program for me as a Vegan that was high protein, moderate carb and low fat. With his help, I look better now than I ever did as a Non-Vegan. You can build muscle mass, lose body fat, or train for a Bodybuilding or Figure competition as a Vegan. Feel free to visit my website at www.ocfitnesspros.com to learn more.
