Now I got nothing against Cds and mp3s but I heard some fools trying to diss DJs that play vinyl calling it " Donkey Work" Fuck that!!! I might enter intothe new age with the rest but Hip hop has always been about wax and I as a strictly vinyl dj (who is making the transition to vinyl control programs)say we must let this tradition live on.------------------------------------------for one there is a certain sound quality a frequency that can only be acheived from wax, a certain warmth that no digital technology can match. plus you never know when your computer is going to crash. You could be stuck at a gig with no music. Not to mention the fact that it is an actual object that can be collected. well I guess you can collect mp3s but a file is just not the same as a crate. So work out them muscles a little and drag some wax out once in a while. I never leave home without it ------------------------------------------------------------ --one way to cut down on weight is to buy 7" vinyl like the one I released above. They are not that heavy and they're really not much bigger than a C.D.-------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------Limited to 1000 copies this one is almost gone and it features Awol one from The ShapeShifters and Massmen(Los Angeles) on the A-side and Subject to Chance on the B-side, This record is for sale in other countries such as Swisserland, Germany and Amsterdamn and Japan. I have searched it and found it for up to 8 pounds you do the math.It is sure to be a collectors item so get you a copy and keep vinyl alive. Oh and stop stealing music off the internet, plenty of people give it away for free, take a slice not the whole Damn pie. 5$
